When does the process begin?

The process begins once you register online at www.hayesstaffing.com, the fee for our services is paid ($175 for Resume Service, $300 for Domestic, $450 for International), and a copy of your most recent resume is sent to apply@hayesstaffing.com in Microsoft Word format.

When does the process end?

The process ends once you accept a position with a company.  Meeting the requirements of the organization including physical requirements, criminal background requirements, etc., are the responsibility of the individual.  We will leave your e-mail account active for 30 days and alert you of any additional communication/contact that is received.

What if I accept a position and deploy with an organization and would like to retain your services again?

We have multiple clients who decide to continue to search for other opportunities while they are working on their current contract.  Other clients choose to utilize our Domestic Services for an opportunity that will fit their needs close to where they live.  If you chose to retain our services again it’s as easy as placing a phone call or sending an e-mail to Shavonne@hayesstaffing.com.

I know of some other individuals who are interested – can I give them your contact information?

Absolutely!  Please have them call Shavonne Hayes at 877-224-2937 or send an e-mail to Shavonne@hayesstaffing.com.

Now that I have submitted the registration form, fee and resume; what happens next?

Your resume will be reviewed and updated (and sent to you for your approval); an e-mail account will be established for you, and you will receive an e-mail confirming the set up.  Once you approve the version of your resume we will begin submitting you for positions that meet your qualifications and sending your resume to recruiters.

What is the normal timeframe for this process?

The timeframe depends on multiple variables.  What your qualifications are, what the urgent needs are based on the governments needs, contract negotiations, etc.  On an average, clients of Hayes Staffing Solutions begin seeing offers within 30 days.  This process will not happen overnight.

Is there a guarantee?

No!!!  Hayes Staffing Solutions has absolutely no control over the positions or the organizations that are contacted.

What amount of time does the fee cover?

We will continue to work for you until you accept a position.

What if I get an offer and I don’t want to take it?

Then you decline the offer and we continue to search for one that meets what you desire.  We will continue to present you with any offer that is sent to you and assist you with making the decision when needed.

I need to get a passport.  How can I get one?

Passport information can be obtained at:  http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html.  Hayes Staffing Solutions is no longer a courier to the Houston Passport Agency.

How often can I call or e-mail you to touch base?

As often as you like.  Office hours are:  Sunday – Off, Monday – 10AM – 7PM CST, Tuesday – 10AM – 7PM CST, Wednesday – 10AM – 7PM CST, Thursday – 10 AM – 7PM CST, Friday  – 10AM – 7PM CST, Saturday – 12 Noon – 6 PM CST.

What are some of the medical conditions that could disqualify me?

Do not consider this list as complete!  Conditions vary from company to company and location to location.  This list is the most common conditions that are disqualifiers.

  • Coronary artery disease with angina, or a history of congestive heart failure or cardiomyopathy
  • Anticoagulants (blood thinners)
  • Anyone with seizures within the last year unless they were secondary to a known stimulus which has subsequently been removed
  • Anyone currently taking psychiatric medications including antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, or prescription sleeping pills
  • Most psychiatric medical conditions
  • A history of excessive migraine headaches
  • A history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with a history of acute episodes or requiring maintenance medications
  • A history of asthma with acute asthmatic attacks or requiring maintenance medications
  • Active cancer or cancer requiring ongoing cancer therapy
  • Active hepatitis
  • Insulin dependent diabetics
  • Diabetics requiring oral medications
  • Diet controlled diabetics whose blood sugar is elevated outside the normal range
  • Untreated/Uncontrolled hypertension
  • Individuals with a history of coronary artery disease treated by stents, angioplasty, coronary artery bypass, pacemakers, automatic internal defibrillators, or valve replacement
  • Cardiac arrhythmias under treatment
  • Applicants with poor oral hygiene or existing dental or periodontal conditions
  • Obesity (Body Mass Index equal to or greater than 40)
  • Vision impairments that are not correctable to 20/40 with corrective lenses
  • Profound Hearing loss
  • Severe skin conditions
  • Sleep apnea requiring CPAP
  • Contagious diseases such as Hepatitis, HIV, or Tuberculosis
  • Active Orthodontia
  • Pregnancy
  • Unrepaired hernia
  • Frequent kidney stones
  • Conditions requiring narcotic pain medication and/or muscle relaxants
